At CVBC we have many small groups that meet every Sunday morning at 9am. During that time, our small groups fellowship, study the Bible, pray together, share what's going on in each other's lives, and talk about ministry and mission opportunities. We cannot say too much to persuade people to live together in peace. It is good for us and brings infinite happiness as we fellowship in Christ and with each other. Small groups give us an opportunity to place Jesus first, equip and encourage believers for ministry, and evangelize people from the neighborhood to the nations.
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work - 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Focused On The Bible
At CVBC, we place a high emphasis on the Bible, not only in our small groups, but in every ministry that we do. The Word of God changes lives. It is alive and relevant to our lives today, just as it was when it was written thousands of years ago.
Every day they devoted themselves to meeting together in the temple complex, and broke bread from house to house. They ate their food with a joyful and humble attitude, praising God and having favor with all the people. And every day the Lord added to them those who were being saved. -

Focused On Fellowship
The early church we read about in the book of Acts knew what it meant to 'do life together' and that's what our desire is at CVBC. The Christian life was never intended for us to do on our own. We need people to help us along the way and invest in us, just as we need to be helping others and investing in them. That's why we place a high emphasis on fellowship in our small groups.
